NOT FOR ME!!

But for my 21yr.old daughter.

Express used to carry them in their Editor, but are phasing them out.
Banana Republic carries a 2 Long

The Limited ?? haven''t looked there yet.

Are Theory pants really long? I might buy her 1 pr. of uber expensive black pants, then try to find
other less expensive solutions. We will even alter at this point.

Last weekend we spent a little over 2,000.00 buying "first new job" clothes. And we aren''t done yet folks!
When do they start to support themselves, ha ha!!

are you sure BR doesn''t have 0 long? i know they just added 00 so i thought they had a full range now of petite, regular and long.

i''d check out nordstroms savvy and tbd departments, the girls there are really knowledgeable so if you ask them if they have any designers who do 0 long they would know. maybe even just call to ask. also check out jcrew maybe...not sure if they do long. ann taylor?

Thanks Mara,

We will check out Nordstrom''s. BR carries a 0, but not a 0 Long. Ann Taylor loft does, but their styles just don''t cut it
with a 21yr. old.

I will head to J. Crew right now, thanks.

i didn''t know banana has 00! need to check it out!

sorry, i''m no help- i''m a shorty!

Ok, J crew only carries a 2 tall GRRRR!

Old Navy carries 1 long. Their quality isnt always the greatest, but it can be ok, and the price is right if you need to fill an entire wardrobe.

I know Limited used to carry 0 long. I am pretty sure they still do.

Good news about the Limited. I will tell her to check them out this weekend.

The Old Navy ones are too high waisted!

Bennetton (sp?) has pants that aren''t hemmed so they''re super long. They might have the equivelant of size 0 (european sizes). maybe size 32?

I was going to saw Victoria''s secret and The Limited. My sister is 5''10" and 120 lbs. she''s not a size 0 but usually wears a 2/4 has a tiny waist but does have a butt. Those are the 2 places she can find jeans/pants that fit her well are long enough and don''t gap at the waist.

Ah, thanks guys. VS was one I had forgotten about.

I ordered some of their pants a year ago, I hated the fabirc.

Maybe this time we will have some luck, thanks.

Ann, Gap carries tall sizes on their website now, and some of their jeans come in size 0 long (about 35" inseam).

hey ann,

American Eagle also sells 0 and even 00 longs so you might want to check them out too.

i was just checking out AE and AF online today for jeans and saw that AE has 00 long''s as well as 0 long.

We are working through all the possibilities. She will be home Friday night and we will hit the Houston Galleria on Saturday. Her favorite store there is Zara. The we will try all the usuals. I''ve rec''d orders from Ann Taylor Loft & Victorias Secret. Will try all the suggestions you guys posted also. It''s tough trying to find clothes that are hip enough for her taste, yet still professional in a 0Long! Jeans, no problem! But nice black slacks, grrr!

HI:

Prada''s slacks are usually quite long. Hip styles too. Good luck shopping.

cheers--Sharon

Success!

2Tall from Victorias Secret, perfect fit. We ordered 6 pr.
Zara in the Houston Galleria offers very current styles, kinda Euro styling.
We bought lots of neat, interesting pieces in there. I even bought a knee length
plaid coat, "a la Channel" with a runched standup velvet collar and runched cuffs.

We have bought clothes, shoes (9pr.) boots (2pr.), purses, belts and 2 new iPod Nano''s (red for me)

Thanks all for the help!

Sounds like she is ready to go!

Sounds like she is ready to go!
Yeah! If only they could just support themselves right out of college.
This is her first job. She is an Advertising Grad, but is very good at graphics and the creative end
of the job. She is making peanuts! Yet, needs professional looking clothes because she is involved w/meeting clients and such daily. It will be quite some time before she can afford to pay her own way.
Mom and Dad to the rescue. We are not complaining, she graduated with honors in 3 years, so buying all the clothes and helping support her, is like paying another yr. of tuition and living expenses!! (I keep telling myself that!)

I like "From the Hip" slacks...they come in regular and long inseams (I shop at Von Maur, I don''t think there is one in TX but you could google it and try to see if Macy''s or Nordie''s carries that brand)...I don''t recall if they come in 0''s but I''m sure they come in 2''s...they''re very modern but not too pricey at ~$80.
