Where to buy meteors

I'm not sure if this belongs in this subforum, but as part of the community, and since meteors are sometimes used in jewelry, does anyone know of a reputable place to buy some inexpensive examples? My friend's young son is very interested in science, and she feels this would be wonderful for his new budding interest in rocks and minerals.

yes! I got some wonderful sikhote alin meteorites for my nephew a phew years ago. actually on ebay. goldenstone9 has good stuff.

I believe there are numerous types of meteorites and perhaps if you narrow it down to the type you are looking for, it would help in the search.

Hate to be this contrarian but... a lot of the stuff he had on sale (and sold) looks like petrified erm, doo doo.

Beauty must definitely be in the eye of the beholder in this case. Even if I can appreciate the rarity.
