Hi,

I am thinking of coming to America to get a loose diamond for my engagement ring.

1) Where is a good place I could go to get a variety of prices and choices? Or is it better to buy off Internet dealers?

2) I am looking for a 1.01, F, VS1, round. What kind of price should I be looking to pay?

3) Maybe I have not grasped the basics of buying a value-for-money diamond, everytime I find one and asks for opinions, I am always told they are not great. What expectations should I have? (in terms of depth, table, polish)
