Unfortunatly while im not working ive had to go back to buying non free range eggs
I feel really bad about it but its a financial decision and i have to make ends meet by compromising on some things
I buy a tray of 20 #6 eggs for about $6 - durring the lockdown the price went up to more like $8
Gary would prefer #7's and id prefer free range
The smaller size doesn't seem to effect my baking and a single sussage will cover a hard boiled one for a scotch egg
one day (soon) when im working again im thinking about rehoming some factory hens and let them retire to my back yard - there is an organisation that matches up old girl chooks to people who would like a few pets rather than egg layers .
