Where can I get a loupe?

Hi everyone! I am just wondering where I can get my hands on a loupe? Are they expensive?

I want to be able to find the inclusions in my stone when I get it, and also be able to read the laser inscription on the gidle?

Any suggestions? I am in Aust, but am happy to purchase online from the states (getting very good at that! currently awaiting delivery of my new US cleaner that I HAD to have!

You might find that you can buy one at one of the better jewellery stores, although pretty unlikely.

Ebay have lots of people selling 10x loupes - do a bit of reading to see you get something decent & not from a christmas cracker.

A quick Google search also found this company in Oz selling them.

Ta! Is 10x enough to read the laser inscription?

So is going to be sooo glad that I am back on ebay buying yet another ''thingy'' required for my ering!

Okay, SO is out with the boys tonight, so I accidently found myself on ebay purchasing a set of three loupes, 30x 20x 10x

Not sure about the quality (how bad could they be hey), but I only dropped $12 bucks on them so all is not lost.

I can spot my inscription with my 10x loupe... and just read it. But it kind of helps that I know what it says, if that makes sense! (It''s the AGS cert number - nothing fancy!).

Don''t let anything you spot with a 20x or 30x loupe put you off the stone. Remember it was only graded using a 10x.
