I'm looking for a setting like this but from a different company where I can choose a higher quality on the stone.
I saw that zales have them (same company?), but they are also overpriced and haven't got any good reviews.
Is this setting called anything special?

Sites I know of is, James allen, White flash and Blue nile, but honestly I think their settings looks a bit harsh and industrial, not anything for my Japanese girl ^^

That wasn't bad. Thanks!
But I would like it to have that rosette style or what it could be called. I think it looks even more cute:) (cute is good in japan)

This one might work: http://www.heartsonfire.com/shop-jewelry/rings/engagement-rings/simplybridaltwistsolitaire.aspx

I don't know anything about the vendor.

It's from this thread: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/what-wedding-band-goes-w-hof-simply-bridal-twist-solitaire.171820/

ETA: If you do a search for "simply bridal twist" you can find other jewelers who sell the same ring with other stone choices, I think.

Hi,
As far as the shank becoming gradually smaller toward the diamond, that is sometimes called 'tapered'. The shank will taper towards the head or center diamond.

A search online for "Tapered Wedding Ring" or "Tapered Engagement Ring" should bring up several semi-mounts you can customize with your own diamond choice.

As far as the indentation in the shank, I don't know what that is referred to or called.

I would look at Gabriel settings. They have a huge variety.

Thanks for the tips everyone! But I've given up the idea of finding it and think I'll go for a classic (vanilla) style.

I talked to Bluenile and asked if they had any real photos of their rings but got the answer that they can't afford to do such things. Did I speak to the wrong person or do they really don't let anyone view real photos? Because a lot of people here have also been requesting it ...

With real photos I don't mean the mock up under details.
I also seen the photos under recently purchased, but would like more than one angle. I think whiteflash is good example of providing good pictures, but they're a bit expensive.
Hm, you get what you pay for?

You might want to have a look at Pearlman's. They have a lot of different styles and you may find one that pleases you/your GF. Because "cute" is hard to define, it's probably best to browse over there. Here's the engagement section: http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/search.php?Category=12

The variation in looks at Pearlman's is much wider than at most other engagement ring online retailers, it seems. I'm not sure if you'll find something you like, but you may get some ideas.
