Where can I find an (actual) antique setting (only) similar to this?

I like that setting style...simple, clean...I am looking for something that is an actual antique and not yet set with a stone (I am sourcing my own, and it will be a round brilliant). You all have been such a help with everything and I am looking for a point in the right direction. Even BM stores that you might know of....

I have been to probably 15 different websites but am looking for a store that sells settings that are actual antiques...I am not a fan of the "antique style" ones necessarily.

you might try any local estate jewelers in your area or do a search here and a few might pop up. In my opinion, your going to have a hard time finding an antique setting without the stone though. Most of the value and appeal comes from the piece being intact, original stone, orignal setting. Not to say they aren''t out there, but they just aren''t super easy to find. that''s why antique reproductions are so popular.

You could look forever and never find one like that setting. I've never seen one like that and I'm an antiquaholic. It looks like a repro setting anyway, not an old one. Why dont you just email them and ask if they'll sell you a setting only?

ETA: I see they say it's antique..Doesn't look it to me. You can get someone to make that up for you pretty easily, not too complex.

Thank you all for your help....while I see the point of having the stone intact, I really want to get a high quality round brilliant...which is difficult to find with vintage pieces...anyone else out there got a good connection for actual vintage settings?? Thanks!

Also vancraynest does lovely antique style (and antique manufactured) rings.
