I’m attempting to make a custom toi et moi ring with a pear and a princess. I have lab princess stone in D color and I’d like the pear to have a fair amount of color contrast so I’d like it to be approx R - Z color.
Where can I find this sort of stone? Or how can I search for it, like is there a name for white diamonds past K color? Thank you so much.

That’s harder to find and I’m not sure if the R to Z color will have that much color contrast or pleasant contrast that you are seeking for.

Instead you can just find lab colored diamond at Brilliant Earth. Or see what Ouros has in stock. I have been looking at his fancy yellow and blue lately.

Thank you so much for your reply. I’m learning that it’s nearly impossible to find R-Z lab stones. I would be interested in lab colored stones but almost all of the yellow stones are very vivid/intense in color and I wouldn’t want anything past fancy light yellow.

New world diamond has 20 of lighter color pear you want. I filtered it to at least 1 carat

I'd take the word "nearly" out of the sentence:)
Seriously - I've been searching. Vivid Yellow? Yes.
Orangy Yellow? Yes
Y-Z light yellow Pear Shapes, or other fancy shapes? Have not been able to find them
It's kind of ironic, I was just with a grower who was so proud of the vivid yellows he was showing....
"And lighter yellows?" I asked
No one wants those...feels like how most diamond people treat Y-Z mined diamonds:)

I'm thinking that with lab stones, they strive to create roughs that are least likely to be lower coloured? Nature can't help what it produces but to some extent, the conditions for lab growth can be controlled and the vast majority of us lab stone buyers want higher coloured stones. I'd certainly ask Ouros as Vijay may know what becomes of lower coloured lab stones (if produced). To be honest, I'm thinking you might find some well priced naturals in that colour range?
