Hi Laura, welcome to PS.

Make sure you read the diamond knowledge sections of this website. You will learn that cut is the most important factor in finding a diamond that reflects light properly and sparkles like mad. It takes more work to find a very well cut fancy shape diamond, like a marquise, than it does with a round diamond. I spent a few months looking for one that had a class 1 cut, great color and no eye-visible inclusions. I found the AGA cut grade chart for Marquise very helpful in my search. Since I was looking online, knowing what numbers were most likely to yield a great looking stone helped me narrow my choices. http://www.gemappraisers.com/oldcutgraderules.asp

I bought my 1.17 carat marquise from Whiteflash and had a great experience working with them since they really understand cut. www.Whiteflash.com If it helps, here is a thread where I discussed my final two contenders I was trying to choose between (I bought #1). https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/which-marquise-should-i-buy.4935/

Get in touch with one of the vendors mentioned by the previous posters. Tell them your budget and what you want and they will help you to find something.

Hi Laura

You could try www.bestdiamonds.co.uk and speak to Dr Indira Marchant, she can obtain fancy shapes and has contacts in Belgium so it could be well worth asking her what she can find for you.
