I have been hearing conflicting things on whether or not it is OK for diamonds to have fluorecense (did I spell that right?).

What's your opinion? What affect do they have on a diamond to the naked eye? Should I avoid them all together?

Need your thoughts and ideas as I'm working on purchasing a loose diamond for an engagement ring! Thanks!!:))

I am a consumer. I love Fluor. (make sure it is Blue fluor though) All my stones have it. You must be sure that it is not so strong that when you take the stone in daylight is looks milky or oily (although I have yet to see one that did). Bl. Fluor can make a GHI colored stone face up to a better color grade.

Good luck
