Me too. Mine sucks. I have two wifi hotspots through AT&T and neither of them are very fast. One is for the PCs and the other is for the streaming on the TV. The faster one is for the streaming and we don't get buffering so I guess it's fast enough.

Not being in a rural area is why your internet is 15 times as fast as mine, @telephone89. And yes, I agree, internet speeds do seem to suck in Canada. They've promised us better in 2021. We'll see!

My download speed is about 25. That is all AT&T offers in our neighborhood!!! A little competition would be good, but it's hard to get someone else to come in when there wouldn't be a huge financial incentive for a relatively small number of accounts.

Our ping (20ms) and download (16.13Mbps) numbers are fine. Upload (1.64Mbps) is slow, but as I only upload the occasional photo, never videos, it doesn't affect us.

My OH is obsessed with this
he is a gamer and at his age he needs a fast computer and fast internet to keep up with the kids online
the amount of time he has spent on the phone arguing with our provider about not getting the speed we pay for
Where we used to live we would watch the fibre being installed and follow its trenches as it got closer to us - but it never came into our beighbourhod
So when we were house hunting fast internet was his major condition and good hot water pressure- he had to compromise on the hot water but the internet speed was non negotable

When im out and about on my own data im appealed at how slow my internet is compaired to the broad band at home
