I for got all about Event Horizon! Disturbing on a couple of levels!

Nytemist named some good ones. I''m waiting for them to make another Phantasm. Don''t know if they are going to actually do it.

brazen_irish_hussy..I love, love love, Shaun of the Dead.

I don''t know if these movies are scary, but they sure were disturbing.

1. I dismember mama
2. The last house on the left
3. I spit on your grave

I find it interesting that someone could come up with something so sick, so twisted. How does one think up these kinds of movies?

1. Scream...I just love this movie!
2. Amityville Horror...I saw it when I was a kid and it scared the hell out of me. I don''t think that I will ever watch it again!
3. Exorcist...Eek!
4. The Shining...another one that scared the hell out of me!
5. 30 Days of Night

ooo, I Lurve scary movies! My friends all thought I was a freak when i was younger, I''d be the one at the sleep over wanting to watch "night of the living dead" and "poltergeist".

in no particular order:
The Ring (prefer the US remake)
The shining
28 days later
Dawn of The Dead - I loved the new one, soo funny!
Oh, Event horizon - spoooky

28 Days Later/28 Weeks Later (If they make a 28 Months Later, I am THERE...)
The Shinnin'' (Not the movie, though, the TV miniseries. The movie didn''t stick closely enough by the book for my taste, though I love Jack Nicholson.)
Wait Until Dark
The Others (the first time I saw this was on my boyfriend''s mom''s new, expensive TV. We didn''t realize there was a sepia setting on the TV and watched the whole thing in the dark in surround-sound sepia-tone. Holy hell, people.)

Salem's Lot!!!(original one), Nosferatu, American Wherewolf in London, The Howling movies.

We have similar tastes I think - anything Vampire or Werewolf. Or Zombies too.. The original Salem's Lot, terrifying. And the Howling is an old favourite, but American Werewolf in London would have to top the list for me, so funny, yet so scary - the scene on the moors when the first attack happens, then that scene in the London Underground -

Interview with the Vampire is my all time favourite book, but the movie didn't blow me away.

Have you seen Dog Soldiers? Quite good.

A favourite modern spooky movie is The Others. Genuine, make the hair stand up on the back of your neck stuff!

all time fav: THE DEVIL''S REJECTS

Audition is fab: i try and see anything this director makes.

for a fun [?] vampire movie: INNOCENT BLOOD

for a fun zombie movie: BUBBA HO TEP

Franly, I can stand the saw movies. The plotholes are so big you can drive a train through them, I couldn''t stop laughing at the end.

I love the shinning.
Session 9 is one of my all time favorites and no one has ever seen it. Anyone who likes good horros should check it out.
I like the descent and silence of the lambs a lot as well.

Also, I know it isn''t ''scary'' but Shawn of the dead is the best zombie movie ever
I LOVE this movie! LOVE IT! We watch it all the time. I always wanted to get up to Danvers State (the location) but it was like a fortress up there. Now most of the buildings have been torn down. Is it any wonder I want to do my trash the dress at a local abandoned state hospital

I also love The Exorcist, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Night of the Living Dead...I will watch pretty much any horror movie - I
