I vote for the potato peeler
1.gif
I managed to cut my thumb peeling potatoes tonight before realizing somebody had given us a potato peeler as gift for the wedding

sigh
But once I got going we had plenty of potatoes all around (ok like 3) but still, I think I could peel potatoes all day now if I wanted/had to

Oh and the broom to push the fire alarm button when we burn food lol

Pampered Chef Everything!!! Okay, I guess I would pick the rubber spatula''s as my favorite though!.... I actually put one in the oven and baked it to see if it would stand up to their "350 degree guarantee"

did it work? We have a rubber spatula that I''ve thought about doing that to haha

Also next on our list- a apple slicer for like 2 bucks. Yup, I managed to cut 2 different fingers with 2 different knifes, rough night...I am soooo not cooking tomorrow!
I have a glass of wine to make it feel better though ;) As our second favorite utensil is the wine bottle air compressor so I have a cheap bottle of some wine leftover from before christmas that is still good! Well still good is stretching it but at least it''s not flat haha

I have a really cool Sur La Table half rubber spatula half rubber spoon thing. It''s amazing. Really good for scooping and moving sticky things like cake better or even mashed potatoes! Now that I have it I couldn''t live without it!

vegetable peeler and ice cream scoop:-)

Small slotted bamboo spoon. I reach for it all the time.

Chef''n Garlic Zoom

It looks silly, but it makes chopping lots of garlic a breeze. And it is fun! My mom stole mine so I had to buy another one.

That does look like a pretty hardcore kitchen utensil!
We have something called the ninja?? We got it from dh''s cousin. I''m still not sure what it does...all I know is I can chop ice with it and make sno cones which is really all Im interested in since we have a magic bullet we also got lol. I swear we have at least 3 different food processors

Corn butterer, hands down.

Potato masher.
Definitely our potato masher. DH LOVES his mashed potatoes and if it wasn''t for our cheapy, cheapy potato masher, he''d have me use my hand mix every time and I hate cleaning the beaters.

I have a few:

garlic press
cookie spatula
Tupperware peeler
food scale (I make perfect 4oz burgers every time)

I was going to say the same thing! I use it so often it's starting to crack. Time for a new one. Regular old spatulas just won't do now.

My husband?

I would say the Titan peeler. I detested peeling potatoes etc until we got that sucker.

knives. I love all of them. I buy pork loins and other large pieces of meat and then butcher it myself. Also, when a family member is hunting, it''s not unusual to be presented with a leg so you gotta have the tools!!

There are a couple things that I''ve never had but think would be cool, a garlic press and one of those honey dipper things that you see on the cheerios box. I wouldn''t use the honey thing very often but I just can''t help but want one!!

Mine is in the knife catagory too. I have a specific Henkles knife that I LOVE and use it for everthing. It''s big and even so, I use it to chop up little things such as garlic cloves and slice up larger things such as meat.

Seriously?

Mine''s a tie between wooden spoon and silicone spatula. I use them both every day and wouldn''t be able to get by without ''em.

Yup.

Without sharp knives I would be a very angry chef.

A good potato peeler is worth its weight in gold!!! OXO makes a fantastic one, I use it for just about everything, but the most regular thing other than potatoes is for mangos! I make a fantastic mango salsa, so it comes in handy. Well, that and the OXO mango de-pitter. I also love my kitchen aid and my silicone whisk (for making sauces in my non-stick skillets!

If we''re talking basics, I love my good chef''s knife and my silicone spatulas. I use them for everything!

For more interesting gadgets, I can''t live without our rice cooker. It was the cheapest model they had, nice and small, and we use it at least once a week. It''s so nice to put rice in an forget about it - I can focus on cooking everything else for the meal while the rice just simmers away. I always swore they were silly and I would never get one (and that I didn''t eat enough rice) but now I''m so glad we got it (and we eat much more rice now that it''s so easy).

Heck yes. It''s definitely my favorite kitchen utensil, and owning one has drastically improved my life. I heart corn.

If the question asked me to name my most useful utensil, I think my Henckels knives would probably win.

definitely my wooden spoon, tongs, and peeler

My extra large wooden spatula. I use it for everything - stirring stuff, smooshing garlic/peppers/pills, pushing the light and vent buttons when my hands are dirty, prodding at the cups and mugs to get one from the shelves above my reach, poking FI to get rid of him when he''s in my way...

What''s a corn butterer?

Aside from knives, whisks!

I make pasta at least once a week, so I''d definitely have to say our pasta spoon!

Sorry so long for the response, YES! it worked! I couldn''t believe it.. I also let it sit in a can of tomato paste overnight to see if their "no stain" guarantee worked and it wasn''t as successful as the as the oven adventure,.. BUT it is only light pink, not bright red.

My favorite kitchen utensil is the telephone--for calling for take-out!
