Hi Ladies! I''ve been lurking on PS for a while and recently stumbled onto LIW. My BF and I have been together for 2 years and he has told me that he''s been saving up for a ring. We''ve talked about my ring preferences and he was surprisingly accurate in his guesses at what I''d want for a ring.
Anyway, I LOVED the dream wedding dress thread and I''m curious to see what other ladies'' dream rings are.
My dream ring is...
DIAMOND:
- Round brilliant.
- Ideal cut. This is my most important C!
- 1.00 carat. I really want a full carat, but I''d be happy with something above a half carat because my finger size is only 2.5.
- Eye-clean clarity (SI1, maybe SI2). I''m not too picky about this C, as long as there aren''t major cracks and inclusions that take away from the diamond''s brilliance and durability. I''d probably be fine with a small visible inclusion too.
- Not noticeably visible yellow color (I-J, maybe K). I''m not picky about color either, as long as it looks white. I''ve also read that ideal cut RB''s reflect more white light.
SETTING:
- Solitaire.
- 14K White gold.
- Classic Tiffany setting OR Lotus setting on Hearts of Water Jewels.
What are your preferences, ladies? Of course, those who have already received their rings are welcome to post as well. Please include pics of your e-rings!
