within reason...Too small or big a table, too small or large a crown angle... Idealscope only tells you the light reflection performance.

If you can get a really good price on a stone, what's the highest HCA score you would consider? I think I read that some stones below 3 may be worth considering if you look at the idealscope image? Is there a certain score that you should not even bother considering?
3 if the stone is as per usual for a 3.0 - i.e. slightly steep crown or deep pavilion or combination, but table below 58% and the symmetry is tight (a little painting can help too).Date: 3/25/2010 11:01:24 PM
