An ultrasonic cleaner uses very high-frequency vibrations to power the dirt off your jewelry. ''Sonic'' cleaners are cheap knock-offs that do nothing but shake your jewelry around for a few minutes. They are marketed by companies hoping you''ll be confused by the terminology and buy their products simply because they cost less than ultrasonic cleaners, which typically cost around $100.
It''s not that they don''t work, it''s just that they don''t work any better than soaking your ring in cleaning solution and brushing it.Date: 12/6/2006 4:33:51 PM

GOODNESS!I received my Hagerty Sonic Jewelry Cleaner from my jeweler when I picked-up my ring. I clean it everyday and use the little brush too, so it''s always nice and clean.![]()
