Whats the difference between an ascher cut and

a royal ascher cut? I know there is a difference I just don''t know what it is.

The Royal Assher is a cut patented by the original Assher company and is a new refinement of the original Assher cut. Getting that mezmerizing checkerboard pattern takes some precise cutting of the pavillion and the Royal Assher company would say that they are the only ones who cut the real deal.

There are various other cuts out there who call themselves asshers but are poor imitations.
