The view from our pool and terrace (please ignore the rope and disk! We are having so much problem with the sea gulls landing on the pool, dropping all kinds of garbage into the pool. The moving disks are acting like a scarescrow when we are not around). We are about 300m below sea level.....
Did you say you were just packing up to leave? Well book me in. That pool looks heavenly! I could be your pool scarecrow!
Lovely, lovely pictures.

So where do you de-camp to? And do you have a garden there as well?
Home right now is in Switzerland! Noooo, unfortunately, we do not have a garden here

We have an appartment but we do have a view of the lake from our balcony......

Only flowering plants we have are these......

Megeve, you''ve got to love a view of a lake. It''s the only reason I live in a condo - for the view! you will find a picture of my lake view in this thread somewhere.

Thanks Megeve. Yes, we do love it here. Only drawback is a very small garden area of my own. But I do consider all of my client''s gardens my own too. I''ll start posting some pictures of those soon.

I''ve lived close to water since I was born. Not quite as close as this, but I don''t think I could ever live anywhere that doesn''t have water somewhere close by.

Here''s a shot taken a couple of days ago of my ornamental rhubarb - just to let you know we can still grow em fairly big in Calgary!

Time to revive this thread!! What's growing everyone?

I went to a native plant nursery this weekend and picked up some perennials. Twenty, to be exact!

I need to plant the rest this week. I'm about half-way through. I'll likely go back to the nursery this weekend to get some more!

My favorite combination for a sunny area is Blue Stokes Aster:

And, butterfly weed!

Glad you revived this thread!! Can''t wait to see all your perennials. What growing nonstop in my yard is my trumpet vine. It''s gone crazy.
