I thought it would be interesting to see what is growing/blooming in our gardens right now....

This is my apple tree. Who would have thought apples would grow in Central Florida...

I have nothing blooming...yet. I have three hydrangea bushes, lilies, and hostas which are all coming up now and I just planted some summer bulbs (dahlias and peonies). I''m hoping they''ll come up on time and won''t be eaten by the squirrels. I also have planted herbs in pots outside our front door. I usually have small shrub-type bushes or flowers in them, but I wanted to do something different and something we''ll actually use. I''m also going to plant corn, zucchini, and cucumbers in the back yard

Day Lilies...

This lily is STUNNING!

Thank you Hudson Hawk... I have many different kinds of daylilies, just starting to bloom now. I was into collecting them a couple of years ago. My husband complained that it was a expensive hobby...but now he wishes that I was doing that again instead of buying gemstones!

Your flowers are beautiful!

My tulips are blooming but most of my daffodils are just about done. My azalea is blooming too. My heathers/heath are past their peak. Other than that, it''s all anticipation up north at this time of year. :)

I love homegrown produce, YUM!

Hey Mochi!

Gorgeous daylillies! I was trying to guess which ones they were:

1. Not sure
2. Tuscawilla Tigress
3. Strawberry Candy
4. Looks like Hyperion, but it''s way early for it even where you live!

How did I do?

I have 3 sad little blooms on my Hepatica so far! Boy it''s been a long winter.

Unfortunately alot of my daylilies'' name tag was destroyed by the lawn guy''s with their weed trimmer or pulled up my Max(my baby boxer)...

But I don''t recognize those names as ones that I own. I have seen strawberry candy...it''s gorgeous.

I''m going to be ordering a bunch more in a couple of days from California. I love gardening, it''s one of my passions. You must also be a gardener, knowing the names of the daylilies.

We have Bamboo all along the side of our fence and luckily we were blessed to adopt a wild panda to raise and keep tabs and make sure everything doesn''t grow out of control like Bamboo often can.

Also, there are many Rhododendrons beginning to bloom, Japanese Maples and of course, Tulips. If fact, Tulips eveywhere. There are yearly Tulip festivals here in the state.

I''ll try and get photos taken one of these days.

I have some unidentifiable tree...that blooms white...

Two hydrangea bushes...one, however was dead last year...and when I went to pull it this year, I noticed buds...so, who knows.

3 knock out rose bushes

and some other filler junk our landscaper gave us...
