I don''t know....maybe I am size sensitive? I just looked at .8 side stones (which is what I have to work with) with 3 different sized center stones. 1.3,1.5 and 1.7. I could tell the size difference when placed next to the side stones. https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/opinions-selecting-stones-for-my-3-stone-ring.139498/ Here''s my thread in case anyone wants to give my their opinion. I really need some, dear dreamer gave me advice so thanks:)
Oh, I do think it is noticable, just not $5k and one color grade lower noticable for me

I think to make it worth it I will need to hit 1.7. It ain''t gonna happen in an H SI1, because that is $9k more than I have invested, more than double my current diamond''s value. I don''t know if I ever want to spend that much on my diamond. The only way to gain appreciable size for me is to a) drop color to an I/J, or b) stay with an SI2. Neither appeals to me. I would rather have a 1.25 G Si1 in the killer awesome setting I found today
