I've seen this stone and it looks great(also clean for SI1 standards) to me (but what do I know)I want us to be happy with this for years to come, so I put a refundable deposit on this one and started looking online.

This stone appears to be really clean from the GIA cert I was e-mailed

Experts: Should I pay an extra $600 for G color and no fluoresence. Will anyone but those people at GIA notice a difference????????????

What about the cut quality?

Is it important to you?

10% difference for G-H is about right.

About 1/2 people can tell H from D in side by side tests. It is your call - I would go with the shallower spreadier stone, but at least check it out with an ideal-scope.
