hi everyone- my brother has two stones from two different significant pieces of jewelry he gave to his wife before they were married and wants to incorporate them in a custom ring for her as an anniversary gift. one is a 10 pointer and the other is .25 ct. any ideas/suggestions on what he could do?

i suggested something with pave or graduated stones since the two stones he has are different sizes... or maybe a use the .25 ct. somehow and put the 10 pointer on the inside as a surprise diamond (would a 10 pointer be too big for the inside?).

Buy another .10 and make a three stone? Or Buy a .50 and make a graduated necklace?

He could get a .50, another .25 and .10 to make a graduated 5 stone.

He could also get another .10 and .25 and make dangly earrings--does it have to be a ring?

A pendant - the .10 on top, the .25 on the bottom. Maybe a bezel to make them appear larger, or even a halo!

he is set on a ring because she doesn''t wear other jewelry like pendants or earrings very often (he doesn''t want it to be a piece that just sits in a box somewhere). hmm...how about purchasing another 10 pointer to make a 3-stone ring like aprilbaby suggested but with halos like monkeypie suggested or perhaps milgrain bezels. hmmmm...a mini 3-stone ring with micropave halos?

are there any pictures of something like that?

the 10 pointer he has isn''t of very high quality so i wonder if it''ll be obvious next to the colorless .25 ct...

5 or 7 stone?
.10, coloured stone to represent a birthday or wedding date, .25, coloured stone, .10

Then the .10 and .25 would be seperate enough so that their colour difference wouldn''t be noticable. Bonus points if he can do a number to represent their number of years together.
