So, I do have almost 7 months left, but we are starting to look at wedding bands...I always assumed I would get the Tiffany knife-edge in platinum which matches well, but I started to look at their 2mm eternity channel-set round diamonds....

So, which would be better?

Option 1: Tiffany Ring 1

Option 2: Tiffany Ring 2

I cannot seem to find my e-ring thread....But it is a T&Co Emerald cut with trilliants in platinum (perhaps a fellow PS friend could help me find it...)

Option 3: Both?!

I can only find the ones with baguettes but it might look nice with your e-ring

here

Otherwise I think that the knife-edge would look lovely with it.

Bee- I like that one too, but it was a little too think against my e-ring (and pricey!)...

I think the channel with rounds might look funny next to your ering, maybe that''s just me? Would it sit flush or would there be a gap?

I agree! I voted for the knife edge - I think it would look great with your beautiful e-ring!

I vote knife-edge as well.

well, i''m all for variety so I voted both...then you can mix and match...

I would have voted both, but I don''t like the channel band you linked, with your ER. The plain one is a no-brainer. Sort of the obvious accessory to your ER. I think later on you could find an eternity or other diamond band to mix n match.

I found your e-ring. It is stunning..

If you can swing both of them get them both, that way you can mix things up or stack them when you aren''t wearing your e-ring.

I voted for the classic knife edge because it''s a lovely choice. In general I don''t like channel settings unless they are with baguettes or french cuts because of the little gaps with rounds. I think a thin baguette channel set wb would be nice and so would a thin pave band by leon or something.

EMPTorres- Thank you

I did a search and couldn''t find

Shame on me.....

Classic knife edge....definitely!!!!! Your e-ring is so classic and stunning, the channel set band seems like it would take away from it. I''m having some serious EC envy!

UCLABelle, you are welcome. Good luck in your choice as I am sure it will not be an easy one.

Your ering is beautiful. If you don''t mind me asking...what are the specs? I ask because depending on the size of your centre stone, some bands can look too heavy.

I think both bands are beautiful, but I''m a matchy, matchy kind of gal, so my vote if for the plain plat.

Carrie- I totally understand, thats why I wanted to get a thin band of diamonds (if at all), mine is 1.5ct center.

UCLAbelle,
Can I throw in another band to consider, the Tiffany Legacy band with diamonds, it''s soooo pretty. I have it and love it.

I voted knife edge (and the baguette band for the next birthday/holiday/anniversary

)

I don''t mind rounds with step cut, but I don''t like the trillian shape in one ring and round in another. I think the knife edge matches without being overly matchy, and a step eternity band would look awesome for some extra bling.

I was looking at that too-it''s such a beautiful band.

Love your ring! It''s gorgeous! I voted for the knife edge band.

Kaleigh- Thanks for the suggestion...I never looked at the Legacy w-band (wouldn''t mind the engagement ring for me, either

) and will go stop by Tiffany''s to look at it.

Hi UCLABELLE!!!

I second what Kaleigh and Mrssalvo said...I would try on other bands besides the ones you posted....I am not a huge fan of either...

I think either the Legacy band or even the Novo band (like the one I have and wear with my EC) would look awesome with your ring!! IMO, the subtle sparkle of the Novo band looks so pretty in contrast to the step cut. Just go to Tiff's and try them on!!

Let me know what you think.

Knife edge for sure, and/or a slim horizontal baguette channel set band.
Your emerald cut is lovely!

Carrie thanks for posting those. I tried on the square cut 3mm ring, but thought it looked a little....hmm....dull?! (I know, bad word for such a pretty ring). It didn't look right. It was also a little too think I think, I wanted to stay around 2mm......as I prefer thin rings. But, the baguette one (despite being 3mm) warrants a look at

....along with Kaleigh's suggestion of the legacy.

Dani- I will look at the Novo band too (huge fan of the rose gold version as well)....I love your ring, and am happy to take tips from you

(from- the other Dani!)

Coatimundi- Thank you!

Lovely ring...I vote for the knife edge.

Snlee & DiamondDana- Thank you! I am lucky to have the ring!

Knife edge or something custom that surrounds the center stone on one side.

Firstly *double swoon on your ring* YUMMMY :)

for the wedding band I think either the knife edge or possibly if you want something with sparkle have you considered this ring Tiffany's Swing Ring A little different but it could offset your ering nicely

On the other hand I could be completely bonkers :P
