I love these earrings and would love to see what other pieces the vendor has to offer. Looking for simple studs with beautiful stones without halo settings. Trying not to waste any more money on Yurman, no offense to those who enjoy butmy luck with them has been spiraling. Many thanks! Only interested in preset pieces.

I'm sure that tanzanite is NOT a variant of garnet. Most retail shops like Gavin and Yurman do not know much at all about colored gemstones. If you want to not waste your money, you'd do better to browse the trusted vendors in the list of the pinned thread at the top of the forum page, and find one with an online shop and who has a good return policy and sells preset pieces. Otherwise, you'll be overpaying with no guarantee of gemstone quality.
