I want it to be very secure...but now that I've taken the photos I can see that I could only go maybe a mm lower.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Your town sounds like mine, lol.
If I had a stone that size I wanted to wear, I would put it in a Sholdt semi-bezel. http://www.sholdtdesign.com/Vashon/R379.htm
Hi MissGotRocks. If the sun ever comes out here again I'll take some photos. The round is 2.27ct and the Marquise is 2.33 with 0.78 trillions tcw. I had to smile when I discovered that the Marquise was a little bigger. Mom remarried after Dad died and I have to wonder if my Step-Dad was upstaging my Dad : )MissGotRocks|1389837059|3593704 said:I would keep everything exactly as it is! I probably wouldn't say that about many inherited pieces I've seen but these are both spectacular! The Tiffany ring I absolutely would leave intact - what could be safer than a six prong mounting?
Beautiful - just beautiful! I love it all! If you're ever so inclined, please take some pictures of these rings outside - would love to see them in sunlight! Do you have any idea how big either of the center stones are?
