What to do with tiny French cuts?

A while back I bought a French cut eternity for the diamonds - it was damaged and three sizes too small but I was hoping the stones could be useful. I have approximately 20 rectangular ones and about 12 square ones.

I’d like to make a 3/4 eternity and/or one like this where they’re grouped in sets of three

but my problem is that the stones are tiny, like 2-2.5mm long and 1-1.5mm wide. I’ve only ever seen french cuts channel set in bands so wondered how they might look if they were bead-set instead since I’m worried that either the channel setting would overwhelm the tiny stones or it would be too flimsy.
I was also wondering about setting the rectangular ones vertically but haven’t seen any French cuts set like that so can’t quite envision it.
Any ideas I’ve missed?

I have the perfect idea, foxinsox. Send them to me!
Sorry, that probably wasn’t too helpful. Lol
they are beautiful
Are you going to talk with Cassie? She has innovative ideas.

I would agree with CVB, I would ask her.

Mixed French cut DBTY necklace and bracelet?

Cannot wait to see what Caysie and you decide. Nice collection of french cuts.:appl:

Not sure of solution but I really like the ring style you posted. I have not been an amazing fan of a plain eternity but I love this twist.

I think they would look lovely as a bangle

@jimmiane you're on! I'll swap you for your lovely Mildred :lol-2::mrgreen2: Oh I crack myself up.

I missed a key piece of information - I'm in New Zealand so Caysie is probably not an option for me :(2 not for this project at least :twisted2:

There's a manufacturing jeweller near me who make nice pieces with nice prong work and milgrain so I will probably try them out since I also need to find someone to reshank my ering and redo the fishtail prongs so want a trial project for them before getting them to work on that.
I really want a ring too - while I would love a bracelet, I just don't wear them because my job involves a lot of typing and having things on my wrist annoy me.

I think I'll just go see them, take the wee frenchies and see what they sketch up based around the ideas I posted above. I really like the hexagonal station partial eternity so will see if they can do me mockups of how they might look bead set and channel set.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

You could stack them and do a half eternity.

This is a fun problem to have :-)

With their small size, what about a row of french cuts bordered on tiny rounds? Not this wide, but you could have the rounds set with a fish-tail on the outside and then shared prong on the inside (between the frenchies and rounds). I'd make the round smaller than these, but this gives the general idea.
