What to do with old nail polish?

I’m cleaning out bathroom drawers, and I’m unsure about what to do with the many bottles of barely used nail polish I’ve accumulated over the years. It seems a waste to throw them out, but I know the local goodwill won’t take them. Any suggestions?

I let it sit in a cabinet til it separates and starts to get sludge-like then I can throw it out and not feel bad!

Use them up! Waste not, want not. Start with the bottles with the least in them. That way you’ll eliminate bottles quicker. Finish off with the ones with the most polish in them.

Probably not too helpful an idea either.

I see people posting them on the local town Facebook "buy nothing" page, and some people take them.....

There are many many people in the nail polish community that would be interested in what you may have! NP doesn't "go bad" - it can separate, fade, dry out even (but even that can be rescued!). I would make a list of what you have, brand name and color name, and post it in these groups:
