I was wondering if anyone had some ideas about what I can do with two princess cut diamonds. They are .51ct each, G/SI1. I know the obvious answer, but I already have princess cut diamond studs.

The reason I have these is because my boyfriend let me pick out the engagement ring of my dreams. I originally picked out a 2.08ct princess center with the .51ct sides to make a 3 stone-ring set in platinum. After wearing it around the house (I am NOT engaged yet), I decided the ring was too blingy (my finger size is 3.75) so after a lot of consideration I decided I would rather have a solitaire. My boyfriend agreed to let me switch it out (we had to take a hit on the original setting) but now I am in love with my new ring, it is perfect.

Now I just need to figure out what to do with the 2 side stones from the oringinal setting. Any ideas for a 2 stone pendant, or earrings that are not studs? I already have a RHR so I am not really looking for a ring. Thanks for your help!

Yes - please send them to me and I will put them to good use.

Just kidding - what about making them as danglers for hoop earings .. so you can also wear them as a necklace.

Detachable dangles for your current studs,
Make a pendant with one and a rhr with the other,
make another thre stone ring useing a coloured stone centre.

Kite set leverback earrings or removable dangles for your existing studs.

Another vote for leverbacks OR you could even create halo settings (as either leverback or as studs) so the style is entirely different from your other PC studs.

A bypass twin stone RHR? You'd probably need a custom mounting. There are infinite design variations. I just attached this photo so you'd know what I meant by bypass twin ring. This ring is on eBay.

edit: Just read where you didn't want a ring. I put real diamonds in rings and save sims for earrings & pendants that I can't see, lol.

I''d get one more and do a three stone bezeled kite set Diamonds by the Yard necklace.

^^ Or birthstone and 2 diamonds for that necklace.

Thank you for all the wonderful suggestions!!

I have some great options now that I wouldn''t have thought of. I was worried before that they would go to waste, but I have a new problem of narrowing down what to do with them. (My BF did remind me that this is a good "problem" to have)....

You do have a great problem there. lol Hope you find the perfect idea. I have stones from a small set of studs (they''re .50) and I''m still, after a few years, trying to figure out what to do with them!

I vote for dangle leverbacks. That is a nice problem to have.
