I just got my 3 carat round brilliant back in April, but the more I see these old cuts I am longing for one. Mine is awesome but now I want an old cut.................
 
I know OWD does trade in's. Adam gave me a decent dollar figure on my 2ct MRB when I bought my AC. I ended up not taking it as I decided to keep it, but I thought it was competitve. I could have sold it pre-loved for a bit more but his offer really wasn't that much lower and it would have just been very easy.
 
I think I'd rather sell it outright so I am not stuck with one vendor

Why not be "stuck" with one vendor?

As with a car, you'll get a better deal doing the purchase and trade-in at the same dealer simultaneously. Tell them you have a stone, you want something different, and then you negotiate the difference.
 
how much did you pay for this in April?

Many of the vendors here will make you a fair offer. It will be less than you paid for it most likely though.

Does the vendor you bought it from have a buy back policy? If so that is likely to be your best easy sale.
