What size Vatche X prong

Here''s my problem: The Princess Cuts that we''re looking at are about .85 ct, but since we''re looking at shallower diamonds than "normal" Princess cuts, most of the stones have a spread that is close to a mall 1 ct. Vatche sells the X-prong setting for a 3/4 ct and a 1 ct. How do I know which to order? Or will the Vendor figure it out for me?

You are not the expert, but the jeweler or the setter SHOULD be...If you give him the stone's Length, Width and Depth, he should be able to determine which will be best for you.

Also, he can say weather it's safer in a 3/4 ct setting or 1 ct, since he will be applying the prongs and securing it!
