What size diamonds for my eternity ring :)

Hi ladies! I have finally decided that I will be getting a claw set/shared prong eternity ring. Am very excited and can''t wait to get it! My e-ring I''d 2.8 mm with a .90 RB solitaire. What size would u recommend for the melee? I would want it to be around the same width if my e-ring or only slighly wider. What do u ladies think?

I think 2 pointers would be perfect and not overpower your e-ring.

Cool. Thanks girls I will speak with my jeweller. Prob go 3 pointers as the melee in my bead set wedding us 2 pointers and would be too small but lucky it has gold around!

I vote 3 pointers too

However, I''ve noticed that you say that you want it to be a bit thicker than your ering and 3 pointers won''t be wider than 2.8mm. From the eternity bands i''ve tried on (i''m looking for a wb too) 3 pointer bands are about 2.5mm tall.

Personally, I think it looks better when the wb is slightly thinner than the ering band. For reference, my ering is 2.6mm and I''m looking for a wb around 1.9mm - 2.2mm.

I won''t be having a spacer. The ring us designed so that there wi b no scratching possible against my e-ring.
Oh no if 3 points is only 2.5 mm then I may have to go 4 pointers?

I''d stick with 3 pointers, but I don''t like it when eternitites look too clunky with solitaires
