What should I expect?

Hi. I have been reading this forum for a month+ now and I appreciate all of the posters' advice and experiences.

I am ready to make a purchase and was hoping to get some advice on one of my top selections. I ask mainly because the diamond is from bluenile.com and have not seen the diamond in person.

Round diamond
1.4 carat
VS2 clarity
E color
EX Cut, EX polish, EX symmetry
0.6 HCA Tool score
Strong blue fluorescence
Under $13K

It has been confirmed that the strong fluorescence has no visible impact on the stone...but I have never actually seen a diamond with strong blue fluorescence either.

What should I expect if I purchased this diamond without seeing it first?

Thanks for all the help everyone. I have added a closeup photo if you want to take a look.

With regard to fluorescence, how has "it been confirmed"? By the person selling you the diamond, trying to make their sales quota or commission?

Strong blue in that high a color definitely warrants more info/confirmation. Look before you leap, but it doesn't look cloudy.

Yes.

Many of us here absolutely LOVE strong blue so long as it is not an overblue.

So long as you have a good return policy, take a look at it to see what YOUR eyes tell you. Others will see it the same or differently depending on their eyes, but they can never see it with YOUR eyes.
