What should I expect to spend for Pricescope quality diamonds to make 1.7-2.0 tcw lab studs?

I got a great pair of lab studs last summer from Distinctive Gems that I sent to David Klass to set in a flower-petal type of peach gold setting. I love them. They are a wardrobe staple. I'd like to get a similar pair set into some type of white gold setting Before I even begin searching for actual stones, I'm trying to get a sense of what I would have to pay for a 1.7-2.0 tcw pair of round brilliant studs. I paid over $2k for the pair I got from DG (1.71 tcw, E color VS1/VS2) and they are beautiful. But I feel like I've seen some folks get some great deals on lab studs that are still awesome cut quality for well less than that. What do you think I'd have to budget now? I'm fine with color down to I and clarity down to SI1.

I would say start with a troll of Alex Park's lab Instagram page. He has good prices. You have to be quick, though.

Yes. This ^ I got my 2.7tcw earrings in June from him for quite a bit less than you paid last year. Good luck.

Thanks @Slickk, they’re lovely!
