What should I do with these umbalites?

Hello all! I am having trouble deciding what to do with my umbalite garnets I bought from Jeff Davies in December (I think). I really want to buy just a couple of more stones for now and then I am ready to start setting what I have. I have a good idea of how I want to set everything else, except these. Should I do a ring and pendant or earrings? I'm not sure of the mm, but the carat weight for both combined is 3.36. If I have earrings made, should I do studs or wire backs? Also, I'm thinking rose gold. The photos have a spessartite as well, but it isn't going to be part of this project. TIA!

Those are a lovely red! I can imagine them as earrings very well, especially in rose gold. They have great size and would look good close together, like on the opposite side of your face. If it were me, I can imagine them in hanging, rose gold baskets with French hooks. How exciting! The stones are beautiful so no matter the design, they will be beautiful.

Thank you Bluegemz! I agree. I think your suggestion will show them off the best. I was already leaning toward that option (wasn't quite sure of all the correct terminology), but I wanted another opinion. Thank you.
