What shape speed bump? Need help quick, please.

Hi. I''m having a semi-custom setting done right now (Knox). I love speed bumps - they keep the ring from spinning and I don''t even feel them. I''m only used to the ones that look like little round balls stuck in there.

The vendor making my new setting just sent a photo of it, in it''s preliminary state. Their speed bumps are way different. They are, I believe, already built into the ring. They look like little upside down hills. Something like take the letter "V" turn it over, put wide part on the band and then round the top. (I hope that made sense.)

Does anyone have any experience with those? Or do I want the round ones?

there are only a couple of gals here who i know have the speed bumps. can you try out the one''s knox puts in and if they don''t work switch? they way you described them, they seem like they might be more comfy than the balls to me.

I guess that is how it will have to be. These appear to be more part of the ring, though, than just the round balls you usually see. Well, hey, here we go, I guess. If they don''t work out for me, I''ll have to try to fix it from there.
