66B83667-942C-4139-BB0C-E63FEBACBCC9.jpeg Picked up the bouquet of happiness! Any ideas what period it comes from? Diamonds are single cuts and I’m tempted to say it’s a 1950’s piece?

I'd guess late 40's, 50's. I think it falls into the retro period.

Lovely find! I would also guess ‘50s.

Calling @stracci2000 & @Bron357 for their expertise!

I’m thinking so too. Tbh, I used to pass up retro pieces thinking that they were not too far removed from the present....lol...Yesterday I realized that this ring could be 70 to 80 years old!

How do you find these rings?! I think we need a field trip to go with you to find us bling! It’s gorgeous!

Thanks for calling, @JPie !
I'd say it is 1940's-50's. The swooping details and the spray of stones on the side are my clues.
I can't tell from your photos, but if the shank has cross hatched brushwork, then I say 50's for sure.
It's really beautiful!
Below is a similar Mid-century ring (from ebay) , for comparison.

Any suggestions on how to wear it? Lol. I uploaded pics showing both ways and do wonder which looks better.

Goodness, Nala, this is flipping GORGEOUS!!

Personally I would wear it how you have it in the lower down photo, with the rounded swoopy end towards your middle finger & the spray towards your little finger. I am drooling

Thank you! I am sooo in love with it! I’m gonna rotate it as you suggested. I’ve been wearing the other way all week. I’ll try this out!
