What non-bling items are on your holiday wish list this year?

I can’t think of a single thing I need or want, and we’re passed the stage of just buying each other stuff for the sake of it. It’ll be our 45th wedding anniversary at Christmas too

Hi! I just saw your post and wanted to wish you a very Happy Anniversary! I’m a long married gal too and also at the point in life where we are getting rid of stuff so won’t be asking for much for Christmas either.
A few years ago we started the family tradition of one nice gift and donations to some of our favorite animal charities. Our daughter and SIL do that too. There are so many animal charities that need help. It’s hard to choose between them, but I love doing those donations instead of tons of stuff under the tree.

Thank you @jeaniefish, lots of our neighbours pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars to get lights put up on their houses at Christmas. We give the money to charity where it does some good. We don’t care if the neighbours think we’re grinches.
