What metal to choose for spacer?

My ering is platinum with milgrain detail and etching on the sides and my wedding band is 18k gold. Right now, my spacer is 14k rose gold filled. I would like some input on the best metal to choose as a spacer that would keep both my rings in the best condition possible.... (14k , 18k solid gold? gold filled? platinum? sterling silver? argentium? ??)especially my ering since it has so much detail that rubs against whatever ring I wear with it.

I really like the look of the rose gold as a spacer but it another metal is what everyone says is really safest for my rings, I will consider changing.....

I really like rose gold on your skin tone because it blends in and doesn't interfere with the two platinum rings. There is nothing at all wrong with getting a spacer in rose gold to wear with platinum. It is a smooth surface and isn't going to hurt anything more than any other metal. I'd probably go with 14k rose gold.
