Hello! I just wanted to say thanks for all of the fun we had together, lol! I love typing "lopsie fugs" into the google search engine- knowing that its memory lives on. I am not very active on forums. I think that the memories of lopsie both lasted longer and are more fond than my marriage was. Oh well. I don't have a diamond to post (although the one in this pic is filthy), but the setting below came in for us to 'fix' the split prongs done by their local jeweler.

Nice prongs cant help that stone! Why worry about the prongs when you've got a stone like that??? Maybe they figured split
prongs would cover up more of the stone thus making the ring prettier???

There's been a strong trend on P/S the past 12 months, bigger diamonds, more OECs in lower colours and the H & A are a much sort after bonus (seriously how many frozen spitballs have you seen with arrows like this baby? ).... I like Lopsey, but I think this one is in a class of her own - I can picture Frosty looking well, big & Frosty in her own Art Deco setting....

+ Lets face it she would be a really massively cool diamond to have to be able to show the people that appear on here weekly arguing why they should buy a clarity enhanced diamond from a friend of a friend from a bogus lab why it's NOT such a splendid idea

Arkie, thanks for that bit of info, it's very useful to me to know what the trends are, thanks! It's going to take me some time to get a feel for what's happening and input on the types of diamonds and priorities is something I need to be aware of. I think that's something to be encouraged, not everyone wants a superideal and as fantastic as they are, it's nice to also help with a broader range of diamonds too if that's what the particular poster wants.

I'm one of the people watching it but there was someone watching it and bidding on it before I noticed it for real I think and just to be clear this is my naughty sense of humour at work here I would NEVER really encourage anyone new to buy this stone, someone that knows diamonds that wants to offer them ten bucks for some fun - that is a whole other story.
