What is your opinion about Chaumet Josephine?

I think this setting is so beautiful and thinking if it’s possible to custom make something similar in the future.
what do you think about the design, is it more easily damaged and break off since the shank and the head holding the diamond it’s not aligned ?

FWIW I do very much like the ring in the wedding set configuration, but do not care so much for the design if it were to be worn as a stand-alone solitaire. YMMV.

The setting as shown in the photos looks like it is made with substantial Platinum so I think it would be sturdy enough for daily wear.

If you went custom, it would be important to ensure your vendor's inspired-by design allows for sufficient metal, width & thickness in its construction so you could safely wear it every day.

Interesting designs. They're like tiaras for the finger. I'd definitely take it off when putting on heavy knits.

i like these types of designs but the way the basket has a "stem" connecting it to the ring looks like a weak point, i'd be worried about bending or breaking the ring at that point. i'd look for something similar with multiple connection points if it were me.
