under $100, under $50, under $25, under $10?

Under $100: I rarely do it, but I love a massage or a pedicure. I like an hour long full body massage, not deep tissue, just a relaxing massage. I won''t do a cheap pedi -- I want the full spa treatment. I can do the basics myself. I probably do one of these things once a year max.

Under $50: New earrings. I like to either go to the bead store and make them (I always copy them off Nordies!!!) or shop at boutiques where they have unique, pretty things. I especially like artsy pieces in silver with genuine stones like citrine or amethyst.

Under $25: Beauty supply finds. I like to shop for nail polish, hair products, aromatherapy, etc.

Under $10: Starbucks and window shopping. I like to go to Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel and Williams Sonoma. I love those three stores sooooooo much. I also like to go to the art museum, but I haven''t been in ages.

Under $100: Clothes... I should do the spa thing, I need to get out of the mindset of spending money on only tangible things!!!!

Under $50: shoes... DSW usually

Under $25: Hmmm... I would say makeup

Under $10: Starbucks is a special treat me as well. I used to go there more until I found out how many calories are in those dang things!

I am not one to treat myself, but DH sends me off for:

$100 or less: a massage about once every 3-4 months

$25 or less: I used to have acrylic nails but took them off to save $$ so he gave me a gift certificate to get them back on or get started with regular mani/pedi''s again. I think I''m going to get mani/pedi''s once every two weeks or so.

I have nothing in the 100$ since I''m a poor student; I keep my indulgences to under 50$!

Under 50$: Facial, which is exactly 50$. I could put massage there too, but I have insurance so I get the money back.

Under 25$: A piece of clothing, a CD or a movie.

Under 10$: Night out at the movies or a bacon sandwich.

My two favorite feel good treats both fall near the $25 mark. Fresh flowers for the house; a Chanel lipstick.

Under $100: I''m with Anchor... I rarely make hundred-dollar purchases these days, no matter what the occasion! But maybe a nice meal out with FI...

Under $50: Shopping trip to my fave bargain-hunting store... when I''m lucky, I can end up with a bag full of designer goods for well under $50!!

Under $25: A mani/pedi is about $30... does that count? Otherwise a decent bottle of wine (I consider any bottle over $20 to be a bit of a splurge for me

)

Under $10: Bath bombs from Lush... there is nothing I love more than a yummy-scented, fizzy bath with a good magazine, TV on in the background and glass of the above-mentioned wine.

OK, reread post and wanted to make sure that I am not misunderstood. I LOVE seeing all the major bling around here and am so grateful that people are willing to show their great pieces. Kudos to making dreams a reality!!

It's interesting to see how we all treat ourselves! Seems like many of us like manis/pedis, massage, good food (wine), perfume and chocolate!

ETA: Oh, and coffee!

$100 - shoes (on sale) or a spa treatment
$50 - mani/pedi
$25 - movie and popcorn or a book
$10 - Ice cream, chocolates, fashion magazine

But these are simple fixes. I am methodical now...I will save the splurges when I can and squirrel it away fomr something bigger and more permanent!

Like right now there is a book at Barnes and Nobles I want on Chanel. *coveting* but it''s $125, and I just dropped $250 on stupid books and such, so I will likely pick up it eventually, but let the guilt just subside first...
