I have a fuzzy memory of when I was three or so. Standing at the bottom of the stairs in our two family house and watching the owners daughters slide down the banister (and wishing mom would let ME do that.) Walking along the city sidewalk with my mom, my brother in the stroller or carriage. Looking in the windows at shoes and picking up from the ground the little seed pods we called "helicopters." I don't know if that's one memory or a combination or a few.
