Yup. In addition to my reasons above, even if I do get the new position I've been working towards, I'll still be on the low end of the scale, which makes me feel a little![]()

And also just because the posters who have stayed around (and frequent hangout) are more likely those who have the funds to continue to pursue their passion for diamonds and other gems with purchases beyond just the engagement and wedding rings.

So I think part of the equation is location, as well.

I am really curious about the salaries over $250k because even doctors here generally aren't paid that much unless they are in certain specialties. Only very successful business owners or very high up corporate officers would make that kind of salary. But I think salaries and cost of living are a lot lower in the southeast where I live. So I think part of the equation is location, as well.
