What is wrong with this EC?

Why does it look all white (barely any contrast)? Is it just one giant leaking stone or was the picture taken at a poor angle?

It's possible that photo editing software was used. Have you asked the vendor if they've edited it in any way?

This EC is from a highly regarded and often recommended PS vendor, which practically everyone uses for fancies. They are not a drop shipper. I am not quite ready to ask them anything yet so I was hoping to get some feedback on why it looks like this. I think the last few tiers are a bit leaky (they look really big / wide) but the rest of it looks odd too.
