About 10 years ago I found a ring (seen below). I thought it was a costume jewelry.

I recently took it to a jeweler and to my surprise they informed me that the diamonds were real.

Out of curious, I'm trying to track down the origins of the ring.

There are no hallmarks on the ring.

Does this ring look familiar to anyone? Do you think it’s modern or 100 years old?

It looks very wide to be a ring. What are the dimensions and approximate size of the hole?

How heavy is it?

Reminds me of the style of Elizabeth Gage, although her pieces are much more finely finished. Maybe a knock off copy?

I really like it
how about a hand shot ?
Would look awsome on a thumb

It's definitely not a hundred years old - my guess would be 50s-80s, which is kind of a long range but oh well.

Cartier had a Panthere band that was very similar, but idk when it first came out - at any rate yours looks like a lion knockoff:

HI:

Gosh I had a ring not so dissimilar to this.....bought new but old stock (clearance scenario). Forgot who made it, but it wasn't a famous "brand". 90's for me.

cheers--Sharon

80s-90s sounds about right to me also.
I knew someone who wore one.
There were branded ones that were expensive and some that were not.

I seem to recall that @Wink may have had a very similar ring for sale a few years ago, so tagging him in case he remembers it and might recall or offer some insight or suggestions.
