Hello everyone!
Our 3rd anniversary is coming up soon.
What are the common (traditional) gifts for this occasion?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

That depends on which list you are looking at;

One says Crystal and glass

The other says Leather

Your choice.

I'd have to go with a portable table saw or maybe a compound miter. It depends on your current power tool needs... Forget tradition.

My husband got me a scarab bracelet because I told him I always liked my mom's. However, he got me one not as delicate looking as my mom's. It's still nice though.

Actually, I was thinking about silver colored pearl pendant in white gold.
I am not sure though it is appropriate to receive jewelry for every anniversary.

I am thinking about my wonderful husband too; what type of gift I can give him?
Dear women, what did you give (or planning to give) your hubbies?
Dear men, what did you get (would like to get)from your wives?

almost impossible to buy for men! I think I got him some clothes one year and some jackets for his national geographic magazine collection another year. he likes crystal stuff so I may get him a vase this coming year. it's the one things we didn't get as a wedding gift. longerie (sp?) is good too - it's a gift for you too.

Um, that's all I got - can't think of anything else. Men are just plain hard to buy for. Oh, and a watch is a good idea if you really know what type he'd want. Or a robe, or just plan a night out and he'll be glad you put thought into it.

Hahaha, I love Wacky's response.

My better half's not into power tools, but he does love sports, so it would likely be something sports-related.

Along those lines...howzabout excellent tickets to a football/hockey/insert sport of your choice/game?

Or, if he's a golfer...a new driver, a gift certificate to a golf store, a really nice golf bag...

Actually, I just asked him what he would want as an anniversary gift, and he said (and I quote) "A signed picture of Heidi Klum."

So that's always an option.
