The said stone is a GIA-certified 1.09 carat- VS2 Clarity- H Color and measures 7.20 x 5.27 x 3.27mm. It's coming up in a local auction next week. I've only seen amateur photos that I don't want to post here in case there's a lurker waiting to steal it. I just wanted to get the experts' opinions.

I'd need to see a video or more pics bit it looks like one of the big steps is almost entirely see through and "dead' a lot of the time.

Interesting stone but I could not buy it off those images. As presented, I wouldn't be happy.

Auction as is stones that I have little info and less eyeballs on?
Never more than 1000 a carat and that's only if it looks really promising.

It ended up selling for way more than I'd buy it for - $1,350. Just for kicks, here are the rest of the pictures that accompanied the listing:

Omg, I bid at a local auction on a lab stone like maybe 2 months ago, they moved the reserve price to higher than I would ever pay once it went live. I messaged them with a link to a much better stone that was cheaper and said “I think you’re out of touch with how much you should be setting your base prices” I think some of them just prey on bidders that don’t know better … they don’t have Kim and Deja watching their backs like we do !
