What is more important...GIA VG/VG/VG or a great HCA??

So now that I am on a serious hunt for my "upgrade" stone......borderline obsessed, LOL!!

So, I found a very promising upgrade from my current 2.11 and was wondering.....
The potential new stone has a GIA Report of VG/VG/VG yet scores a 1.2 on the HCA

My CURRENT 2.11 has a GIA report of EX/VG/EX yet scores a 1.7 on the HCA.

Does that mean the new stone *could* in theory, outshine my very sparkly and gorgeous 2.11 that is "better" than the new one by GIA standards?

What gives??

1.2 is not better than 1.7

HCA is a rejection tool: reject those that score over 2.

More important than either GIA cut grade or HCA score is the numbers themselves..
