Can someone explain this to me? I''ve read many posts about it. I know it should be below a 2. But where do you find the information on the individual stone? I don''t see it in the reports unless I''m overlooking it? Can someone advise? Thanks!

You will have to use this tool.

It will require you to input the following values, that can be read off standard lab report, for it''s calculation and only works for round stones, depth %, table %, crown and pavilion angles or depth with angles working better.

Ok - so since I want a princess this doesn''t matter to me at all then right? No wonder I was a bit lost. Thanks guys!

yap, no use for Princess.

Smart guys seem to like an Idealscope over the HCA for rounds.

For Princesses, unless you exclusively seek those with grading reports from AGS (which do evaluate cut), you might target reflector technologies to aid you in selection...and particularly, the ASET. See here from the FAQ section.

Ditto, the HCA is solely used for round diamonds. Princess, use the advice given by Ira.
