What is going on with the faceting...

...in this asscher?? It's like it's step cut in the middle and then more "brilliant" faceting around the perimeter.

It has a fabulous small table which allows you to see it more!!! My asscher is tiny compared to this one, but it also has a smaller table, and I think that really makes the stone more beautiful when well cut otherwise!

I wish! I'm pretty much locked in to Diamonds Direct if I ever "upgrade" to another stone... which got me thinking...

Since a lot of vendors have virtual stones, would it be impossible for another vendor (DD, specifically) to buy a particular stone for me? I don't even know if they would consider it, but wanted to know if this could possibly be an option?? Looking to the future, I feel like children will make me want to change my setting to something less fussy with less pave. If I do this, I want to upgrade to at least a 9.7-10 mm stone...
